hey guys, its been a while since I have posted Work, heres some recent designs I did

Exhibit Poster

For this project, we had to come up with a poster announcing an exhibit of our choice. I chose History of Psychadelic Music so I wanted to make the poster very much of that era without looking outdated. I used of photograph of myself and vectorized it and created the font by hand before rendering it on the computer. Still needs some adjustments but this is the final draft.

Here is the spread I did for my nylon magazine that I created for my class final. These are only a couple spreads but these are the ones I liked the most. All information on it is made up but the pictures and design are taken and designed by me.

Redesign of book cover for "A Million Little Pieces"

This book is about a man who is dealing with his alcohol and drug addictions and finds himself to be taken care of by a man who he met in rehab. I wanted the book cover to call the attention to both male and female unlike the original who I believe only attracts women. The front cover photograph is by me and back cover photos are stock photos.  This is the full book jacket including spine, front and back and covers along with dust jackets.

Nylon magazine cover

Nylon Magazine cover for Electronic Layout class. Photography and design all by me. I really love the colors in it. I think the bright neon looks amazing and perfect for spring. Nylon Magazine caters to young women so I think the colors, composition and of course the model make the perfect match.The colors on her face came out slightly different on the web.

Nylon Poster

This poster is to advertise a fashion conference by Nylon Magazine which I did for a class assignment. I used a picture of myself (since I had no other model) and altered the colors a bit. Made my skin black and white with color in the clothes for a more edgy effect. I especially like the way my hair came out. I wanted this to call a lot of attention and look like something I would want to attend.

Abstract Calendar Poster

This was a project where we were supposed to distort a grid. It had to be a large printed poster so of course it had to be visually pleasing (as all work should be). The strong black image is a type I created saying "JULY" that was cut down the middle, enlarged and distorted a bit. I think it created a very interesting affect.
